Description

Reproduction of a photograph in the 1906 St. Mary's Institute yearbook. It depicts the basketball game between St. Mary's Institute and Denison University on March 15, 1906. The Denison team won 32-22. Playing for St. Mary's were B. Topmoeller and W. Pflaum, forwards; W. Mahoney and W. Hilgerink, centers; J. Clasgen and W. Schoen, guards. Playing for Denison were Coe and Weber, forwards; Livington, center; Shoop and Pine, guards. Referees were R. Emerick of S.M.I. and M. Fox of Denison. Attendance at the game was 1,120.
