“Venture Into Space” Enterprise feature. This is from a six-week sub-series of the Enterprise television show, to report the extensive research by the Air Force to prepare humans for space flight. The series was broadcast on WHIO-TV , Channel 7 during 1958. This excerpt includes an illustrated interview with USAF Colonel Rufus R. Hessberg of the AeroMedical Laboratory at WPAFB – examining microscopic blood flow studies during periods of weightlessness
