Description

Patrick Lofton is the executive vice president and chief operating officer of the National Catholic Educational Association (NCEA). Prior to joining NCEA, he served as an Associate Superintendent in the Archdiocese of Milwaukee. Patrick also served as a Catholic school principal, middle school coordinator, and teacher in the Archdiocese of St. Paul-Minneapolis, and an administrator at Marquette University.

Patrick has extensive experience working with teachers, principals, parents, pastors, governing bodies, and diocesan leaders to improve and advance the ministry of Catholic education through clarifying mission and vision, improving internal and external communication, leading strategic planning, and cultivating the ongoing development of leadership and governance. He is a tireless promoter of Catholic education and believes Catholic schools should be accessible to all who desire a faith-based education.

Patrick believes that NCEA can be the compass and catalyst for providing leadership development, professional development, and proclaiming the good news of Catholic schools that is needed to ensure a promising future for Catholic education. He believes Catholic educators must connect more frequently, communicate more creatively, and collaborate more consistently in order to advance Catholic education in the 21st century.
