Legislator Matt Huffman will lead this discussion on the importance of Catholic schools in the eight major urban areas of Ohio. Content will touch on the role of alternative options for education, new scholarships and vouchers available from the state. The presentation will also include a dialog of school funding in Ohio and recent changes to older sources of funding, like the EdChoice program and auxiliary funding resulting from the recently adopted State of Ohio budget (House Bill 59). Participants can expect perspective from the state level as well as resources for accessing funds.
