Biographical Information
Philip Hayden composes art songs and choral and instrumental music. In 1974, he graduated with a degree in music education from Westminster Choir College and later earned a master’s in theory and composition from Eastern Kentucky University. He was the chair of music education at a Colombian university for five years. He has over 30 published choral and handbell pieces. He later moved into full-time music ministry in Raleigh, North Carolina.
