Abstract
The records contain the by-laws, meeting minutes, reports, papers, and ephemera of the Franciscan National Marian Commission, an organized movement within the Order of Friars Minor. Its purpose was to promote Marian congresses, institutes, studies, and centers, and to sponsor the publication of The Marian Era from 1960-1976.
