Description

French holy card distributed by the Propagande du S. Cœur in Lyon, depicting the third visit of the Angel of Peace at Fatima. The angel offered the Eucharist to the three children, telling them to "Take and drink the body and blood of Jesus Christ, horribly outraged by ungrateful men. Repair their crimes and console your God." The back of the card contains an excerpt from "Le Prodige Inouïe de Fatima" by J. Castelbranco.

Prenez le Corps et le Sang de Jésus-Christ, horriblement outragé par les hommes ingrats. Réparez les péchés et consolez votre Dieu. (front) Que les pécheurs "changent de vie" et deviennent de bons chrétiens par l'observation constante de la loi divine! Que les justes aussi "changent de vie" et s'efforcent de devenir chaque jour meilleurs! Que les meilleurs "changent" encore et s'appliquent avec ardeur à devenir parfaits! Que les parfaits eux-mêmes "changent de vie" et aspirent de toute leur âme à la haute sainteté qui console le Bon Dieu et détourne du monde ses justes châtiments.
