Description

The crucified Jesus hangs on a cross. Below the cross is an open Bible and a set of rosary beads. The background has flowers and clouds. The edges of the card have embossed gold filigrees. The back of the card has an inscription commemorating the profession of religious vows by a Sister of Saint Joseph of Lynn, Massachusetts, and the entry into the novitiate of a second woman. Created by Boumard Fils.

Jesus has his feet nailed to the cross to soften our hearts; his arms extended to receive us; his side opened and his heart wounded to pour out upon us this graces, his head bent to give us the kiss of peace.
