Description

A bouquet of white lilies is encircled by a wreath of thorns. A beam of light shines on the bouquet containing a gold cross and the word 'Chastity.' Next to the bouquet is a quotation from Saint Augustine. The back of the card is blank. This card was printed by Maison Bouasse-Lebel through their subsidiary, Lecène & Companie, sometime between 1907 and 1924.

Chastity. The Road to Perfection. Behold the Spouse of pure souls, and in a burst of love, sacrifice all earthly affection to that Lord, who has loved you so dearly. St. Augustine
