Description

The child Saint John the Baptist kneels before the child Jesus, who has one hand raised in blessing. John is holding a staff shaped like a cross. A lamb lays next to Jesus. The scene is framed by gold and green ivy. Below the illustration is a quotation from Saint Alphonsus de Liguori. The back of the card is blank. This card was printed by Maison Bouasse-Lebel and their subsidiary Lecène & Companie sometime between 1907 and 1924.
