Description

A bronze colored profile portrait of Jesus wearing a crown of thorns is in a circle. Next to the portrait are three flowers on a green background; below is a prayer. All are surrounded by a gold and green frame. The portrait of Jesus is embossed. The back of the card is blank. This card was printed by Bouasse-Jeune at an unknown date early in the twentieth century.

Transcription

Fix your gaze on the brow of Jesus, bleeding from the pricks of thorns, read there His love and give Him your love without stint. You are, O Jesus, the God whom we offend and the God who forgives, the God who welcomes the repentance of broken hearts, and the God who gives back to them justice and peace.
