Description

Jesus is seated or kneeling behind a table covered in white cloth. On the table are a chalice and a plate; Jesus holds the Host over the plate. A young boy stands next to the table with hands clasped in prayer, and an old man kneels next to the table. Behind them are trees and a lake. Below the illustration are red flowers and a quotation from Blessed Henry Suso. The sides of the card are bored with an embossed green and gold leaf pattern. The back of the card has a handwritten inscription from a nun to a girl in remembrance of her 'Great Day,' perhaps the day of her First Communion, on June 6, 1921. Printed by Bouasse-Jeune.
