This session should benefit anyone interested in implementing restorative justice approaches, particularly in response to incidents of bias. This interactive session will provide information and practice on how to use the model for incidents of bias, as well as consider the benefits and drawbacks of such a model. The presenter will provide tips for effective implementation based on doctoral research on the need for community building models that connect students across difference to develop a more inclusive community and to allow students to experience, reflect, and act from a commitment to justice, mercy, and compassion.
