God Still Comes: From the Manger to the Heart
These pages are an invitation to enter the magic world of Christmas, its joyful celebration and deeper meaning. The world of Christmas as presented reflects the tradition of the manger, of nativity sets, cribs, or crèches as we colloquially call them. Entering the world of the crèche the reader will discover some of its traditions and manifold expressions.
This book shares with the reader the story of a beautiful experience of dedicated people, lovers of beauty, and skillful artisans. For almost twenty years now, the Marian Library/International Marian Research Institute has proudly shared its many nativity sets, and the unique way of displaying them, with local and national communities. Some of the more characteristic manger scenes of our collection are shown in this 240-page book which contains over 250 photographs.
