Myth and Reality: Reflections on Our Travels through West Africa

This is a collection of essays by the University of Dayton faculty who participated in the 2018 and 2019 Global Education Seminars.

The Global Education Seminar is an educational and scholarly initiative in which faculty participate in a series of seminars about the strategic site prior to a three-week exploratory and immersive visit. The initiative seeks to broaden the pedagogical and scholarly horizons of faculty members, providing them with an interdisciplinary experience for academic exploration and study that can shape revision of the courses they teach, motivate new scholarly projects, and inform additional international collaborations such as faculty exchanges and grant opportunities.

The book is available here free by section or in full; printed copies are available by mail for $5.
