Description

Issue commemorates 25 years of coeducation at the University of Dayton. R. Kathleen Whetro, Dean of Women, opens the magazine with an essay, "Co-Education: What It Has Meant to the University of Dayton." The issue also provides "Where are they now?" profiles of the 31 members of the first class of women. Mary Jo Huth, an assistant professor of sociology at St. Mary's College in Notre Dame, Indiana, who joined UD's faculty in 1962, shares an essay, "The Role of the College-Educated Woman." Patricia Donisi, an instructor in the Reading Center at UD, writes "The Woman as an Intellectual." The issue also reports on the question of building a women's dormitory.
