Abstract

I have found communicating with one's offspring to be daunting at times. When they're small children, conversation can be simple: "Gotta go pee-pee?" or "Time for nap" or "No, don't put the fork in the socket, honey." Simple supervisory skills. As they get older, and if they're still not as smart as you, you can figure out how things are. But it does require knowing your children and what their proclivities are.
