At 60, Ilene "Gingy" Beckerman wrote a best-selling memoir, Love Loss, and What I Wore, that was an inspiration for a successful Off-Broadway play. At 62, she published her second book. At 65, her third. At 70, her fourth. At 75, her fifth. She's illustrated all her books, which have been published in numerous languages.
