In the first 20 minutes alone, 150 writers registered for the 2018 Erma Bombeck Writers' Workshop, paving the way for a sellout in record time - just shy of five hours. Lela Davidson, of Rogers, Ohio, expressed her joy in two words: "In. Bam."
