Abstract
Too often, racial conversations are framed along a black-white binary rendering the experiences of other racial identities invisible. This session will examine the experiences and perspectives of Latinx (Latino/Latina/Hispanic) communities in the Dayton region, in the U.S. and beyond. Featuring Latinx scholars and community organizers from the University of Dayton, the session will provide a space of dialogue, discussion, and networking as we collectively examine current issues and the ways in which we can challenge patterns of exclusion.
