Abstract

University of Dayton faculty shared their research and expertise on topics ranging from business to foreign affairs in national media outlets during the first two weeks of August.

The Associated Press quoted Human Rights Center Interim Executive Director Tony Talbott in a round-up of national experts explaining the tension between the United State and North Korea. More than 300 outlets across the country, including The New York Times and U.S. News & World Report, picked up the story.

Christian Kiewitz, professor of management, shared his research on defensive silence with The Academic Minute, a popular radio program that selects professors from top universities across the country to share “groundbreaking research and how that research helps us understand and solve the big problems that matter to us all.”

And Jana Bennett, associate professor of religious studies, wrote a piece on Charlie Gard for America, the Jesuit Review, the leading Catholic journal of opinion in the United States.
