Abstract

Many of the 130 students who will collect diplomas this spring from the University of Dayton School of Law face perplexing job prospects. The problem isn't whether they'll find jobs — it's deciding which jobs to take. A booming job market for new attorneys is greeting law graduates nationwide, and University of Dayton law graduates are seeing more job offers with higher salaries than ever before, said Chris Szydlowski, director of career services for the law school. Of 107 students who responded to an employment survey recently conducted by the law school, 33 percent had already accepted jobs, and many of those students reported multiple job offers.
