Abstract

News release announces that William N. Taylor, an internationally known authority on drugs and sports, will speak about "Drug Issues in Sports Medicine." Taylor identifies anabolic steroids as "the fastest-growing drug abuse in this country, the true danger of which lies in the 'macho' image of the '80s adding to the psychological dependency on the drug."
