Abstract

Father James Heft, S.M., begins with some personal examples of how, over the past few years, he's become involved in the Catholic conversation about transgender people. He then reviews current public debates about transgender care and compares and contrasts two different documents issued by Catholic dioceses on how to approach this issue.
