Description
Plastic doll is wearing a habit worn by the Franciscan Handmaids of the Most Pure Heart of Mary. The order was founded by Father Ignatius Lissner in Savannah, Georgia in 1916 to teach African American children. The doll is wearing metal eyeglasses and a black dress with a black scapular, black veil, white wimple, and white collar. A metal medal is hanging from a metal chain necklace, and a black rosary is hanging from a white rope belt around the doll's waist.
