Why the honoree chose the book
This collection of vignettes on diverse scientific disciplines includes a description of one that captivated and inspired me as a student and continues to do so: the idea of the "Cataclysmic Question" posed by Richard Feynman and his suggested response. My wish is for readers to find their own answer to Feynman’s question as they read the pages in this book.
