Mr. Cox was Editor in Chief of the University of Dayton Law Review, 1990-91. Before attending the University of Dayton School of Law, the author was Deputy Director of Government Relations for the National Society of Professional Engineers, Alexandria, Virginia. From 1996 to 1999, Mr. Cox served as an elected member of City Council in Oakwood, Ohio, where he resides with his wife, Jenny, and their four children.
