Douglas Rallo created the concept and coined the term “hedonic damages” in the landmark federal civil rights case of Sherrod v. Berry, 629 F. Supp. 159 (N.D. Ill. 1985). He is a 1978 graduate of the John Marshall Law School in Chicago. Mr. Rallo practices plaintiff’s personal injury and workers compensation law in Libertyville, Illinois.
