Ashley Caldwell is a J.D. candidate (expected 2020) at the University of Dayton School of Law; B.S. in Police Studies, Eastern Kentucky University, 2007. Prior to attending the University of Dayton School of Law, I worked as a police officer for the City of Englewood, Ohio, from 2010-2017. It was an honor to be able to research and write about police reform, a topic I have long been passionate about. I would like to thank my family and friends for their support as well as the many professional contacts who assisted with the completion of this Comment.
