Jill Marie Gerschutz-Bell is a J.D. Candidate at the University of Dayton School of Law. Prior to law school, she spent more than 15 years advocating on behalf of refugees, migrants, and impoverished communities globally, mostly for Catholic Relief Services and The Jesuit Conference USA in Washington, D.C. She is co-editor of and contributor to And You Welcomed Me: Migration and Catholic Social Teaching (with Donald Kerwin, eds., Rowman and Littlefield 2009), among other articles. Gerschutz-Bell has a B.A. from the University of Dayton and an M.A. from American University.
