The back of the card has an inscription memorializing Father J. Kilian Schott, a priest in Evansville, Indiana who passed away on September 13, 1930. The inscription includes a prayer for the repose of his soul. This card was published by the B. Herder Book Company of Saint Louis, Missouri, but was printed in Germany.
