Paul Laurence Dunbar, Night
(1948-2013) Reginald Evans majored in Voice Performance and Conducting at St. Olaf College. In the Washington, DC area, Evans was a featured soloist with the National Symphony Orchestra, The Paul Hill Chorale, The Washington Choral Arts and Oratorio Societies, the Bach Consort, and many other choral groups in the area. He also was a composer-in-residence at the Austrian National Radio and was a soloist and artist at the Volksoper and the Bach Gesellschaft. During the 1970s, he lived in Vienna, became fluent in five languages, and appeared in concerts throughout Europe and the United States. Evans debuted in Carnegie Hall in 1981. He was the featured soloist in many choral groups in the Washington D.C. area.
