Antimicrobial resistance, often abbreviated as AMR, is a global concern that impacts the practice of both medicine and public health. It is a very active area of research, including the epidemiology of resistant bacteria and fungi, mechanism of resistance, antimicrobial stewardship, and development of new antimicrobial agents. In this section, I will provide comments on recent open access articles of note that focus on AMR.
