Dedication of the sculpture, Omega Point, September of 1973. On the left is Father Raymond Roesch, university president who spoke at the dedication. At right is Omega Point, Henry Settler's (the sculptor) interpretation of Teilhard de Chardin's cosmic evolutionary theory, based on the idea of a geological timeline.
