Description
The Center for Alcohol and Other Drugs Resources and Education (CADRE) now offers Recovery is Spoken Here - Recovery Ally Training. CADRE is seeking to foster an environment where students in or seeking recovery from alcohol and other drugs feel accepted and affirmed in their journey to wellness; share about their recovery; feel comfortable asking for help; and are celebrated by the University of Dayton community. Participants will understand the impact of society’s stigma of substance use disorders (SUD); learn about inclusive language and the most up-to-date definitions/descriptions of SUD; and learn how to be allies for those impacted by substance use.
