Abstract

Sidor is from Chicago, where she spent weekends at a school learning Polish culture and language, the language her family speaks at home; most of their family is still in Poland. At UD, where she lives in a house with a big porch, she is a music studies major. One day she wrote a song about her faith. And a roomful of people sang it with her — in community.
