Abstract
Plane-wave multiple-scattering theory is used to analyze scattering in the Raman-Nath regime for adjacent ultrasonic beams of frequency ratio 1:m. The variation of the scattered intensities is obtained numerically as a function of the phase difference between the beams for the case m = 2. Results are compared with the work of earlier investigators.
