The University of Dayton Department of Economics and Finance provides outstanding teaching in a curriculum relevant to contemporary business, integrating theory into practice. Students work closely with faculty in both coursework and research.
The department offers undergraduate majors in finance and business economics in the School of Business Administration; students also may earn an economics major or an applied mathematical economics major in the College of Arts and Sciences. At the graduate level, students may choose a finance concentration in the MBA program. Faculty in the department also teach graduate students in the Master of Financial Mathematics degree program in the College of Arts and Sciences.
