Abstract

The purpose of this thesis was to determine the effectiveness of the Autism Spectrum Disorders program in the Purple City School District. The Louisiana Autism Quality Indicators were used to determine the program’s effectiveness. The results indicate that the program is currently functioning at a “Needs Improvement” level. To increase the effectiveness of the program, evidence-based practices need to be appropriately selected, applied and used with integrity and consistency.
