Abstract

In this recorded lecture, Father James L. Heft, S.M., provides history, commentary, and reflection about St. John Henry Newman, who became a Doctor of the Catholic Church on Nov. 1, 2025.

The recording is a collaboration of the Institute for Pastoral Initiatives (IPI), the Learning Teaching Center (LTC), and the Department of Religious Studies at the University of Dayton.
