This collection contains soil, plant, and tree data for a 12-acre experiment on a former agricultural field that is now part of the Spring Run Conservation Area, which is owned and managed by Five Rivers Metroparks of Dayton, Ohio. The depleted land, divided into 20 plots for this project, will be restored first to a prairie, then to a bur oak (Quercus macrocarpa)-dominated forest.
