The University of Dayton School of Engineering's Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering is part of the Dayton region's rich history of innovation, design, aerospace and manufacturing. Using a blend of theory, practical experience, laboratory and field research, and service, the department develops engineers for careers in mechanical and aerospace engineering and renewable and clean energy. Faculty specialize in aerospace, energy, mechanical systems, controls, biomechanics, materials and manufacturing.
