Abstract

Fox News interviewed University of Dayton Research Institute impact physics group leader Kevin Poormon about the risks drones pose to aircraft. A portion of the interview aired on "Special Report w/ Bret Baier" and eight Fox affiliates nationwide. "Fox & Friends" also aired video from UDRI's test of a drone hitting an airplane wing. CNN ran aviation historian Janet Bednarek's Conversation piece, "In 'airports of the future', everything new is old again" which has more than 81,000 reads.
