Abstract

For the first time in its 117-year history, the University of Dayton has student members on its governing councils and committees. Previously, the committees consisted only of faculty and members of the Society of Mary. The committees are the Academic Council, the Student Welfare Council, the Finance and Services Council, the Public Relations Council, the Attendance Committee, , the Health Service Committee, the Scholarship Committee, and the Student Aid Committee.
