Abstract

Very Rev. Reymond A. Roesch, S.M.,President of the University of Dayton, has announced the part-time appointment of three faculty and staff members to UD' s educational research and development team in conjunction with the newly organized Dayton-Miami Valley Consortium. The purpose of the University's educational research team is to stimulate and coordinate research within the University and to encourage cooperative efforts within the Consortium. This will be done by testing and accumulating data on student characteristics and educational performance, research on effectiveness of student learning, and research on improved methods of instruction using the most modern educational technology and communications media.
