Abstract
After spending more than 30 years watching her students at the piano, Joyce Cameron is now applying the same guidelines for proper technique to help computer users. Cameron, who received a master's degree in experimental psychology from the University of Dayton in 1997 after earning a doctorate in musical arts 15 years ago, has developed simple guidelines for evaluating a computer workstation to help avoid discomfort. She presented the guidelines, which were developed from her master's thesis project, to students and faculty during a UD wellness program lecture in March. Cameron has also made similar presentations to members of the Ohio Library Association.
