Abstract
Tip sheet provides UD feature angles: A biology faculty member, Brother Bruce Griffin, S.M., helped develop a new drug for African Sleeping Sickness that also cures pneumocystis pneumonia, which is usually fatal in AIDS patients. Also, a computerized accounting system developed by Brother Ed Zamierowski, S.M., in UD's Strategies for Responsible Development office will enable volunteer neighborhood groups to generate monthly financial statements and develop cash-flow statements.
