Abstract
Feature leads for the media: A University of Dayton team led by faculty member Tom Ferratt is designing two computerized information systems to monitor the progress of Dayton Public Schools students as part of the New Futures Initiative funded by the Annie E. Casey Foundation. Teacher education faculty member Joseph Watras is collecting oral histories from Dayton Public Schools teachers about the pressures they felt about court-ordered school desegregation.
