Abstract
Feature leads for the media: By 2000, one-third of all Americans and 70 percent of the poor will face the problems of inadequate or unaffordable housing, according to Mary Jo Huth, a University of Dayton professor of sociology. "Nothing so clearly demonstrates the need for a new housing policy in the United States than the crisis of homelessness," she says.
