Abstract

News release announces that an exhibit in the Marian Library will feature books and documents from the time of the French Revolution. The exhibit will center on the Rev. William Joseph Chaminade, founder of the Society of Mary, exiled for refusing to swear an oath to the French government, which was attempting to remove the church from control of the Pope.
